Zoe Marshall has spoken out about her battle with endometriosis.

Zoe Marshall has revealed she’s been battling endometriosis, and has spoken about how she plans to help others with the debilitating condition.

Zoe, who is married to footballer Benji Marshall, has been dealing with “endo” for more than three years.

The 31-year-old blogger and media personality recently underwent surgery and she has since appeared in a documentary about the common illness, which causes endometrial tissue to grow outside the womb, causing serious pelvic pain.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Marshall described endometriosis as “debilitating”.

“It was quite debilitating and I just couldn’t handle it. I was passing out from the pain so I went in and locked down that operation,” she said.

“This is the first week where I’m back to life.

“I’ve had it removed before and it grew back quite quickly and severely so it was time to knock it on its head.”

Marshall has also teamed up with friend and fashion designer Steven Khalil, who has designed a stunning red dress for Marshall to auction off, with proceeds going to Endometriosis Australia.

Luckily, the condition won't impact Marshall's chances of falling pregnant - but she said she was determined to make a documentary about the illness from a patient's point of view.

“I documented the surgery and I’m making a doco out of it...There’s been documentaries where medical professionals discuss it but not from the patient's point of view," she said.
