The awful new celebrity trend?

Is there a stomach flu going around on Twitter? That's the only explanation we can think of for two of the world's biggest pop stars, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, both vomiting onstage at recent concerts!

Lady Gaga's stomach troubles happened on Saturday, when she was preforming "Edge of Glory" at her Barcelona concert. The pop star threw up no fewer than three times, hiding strategically behind a back-up dancer. When she realized afterwards that her illness was caught on camera, she didn't hesitate to post the video on Twitter.

"Was praying nobody saw but actually its quite a good laugh if u need one!" the pop star tweeted. "Check out Lady PukeGA doing Swan 'Vomit' Lake." (Watch the video below!)

Just two weeks earlier, the same thing happened to Justin Bieber, The 18-year-old singer was performing a concert in Arizona when sickness struck. He was crooning "Out of Town Girl" when he abruptly turned around and threw up, then ran offstage. (Watch the video below… if you have a strong stomach.)

Though he didn't disguise his illness as well as Gaga, Bieber immediately returned to finish the show, asking the audience, "Will you still love me even though I'm throwing up onstage?" (We're pretty sure they said "yes.") Later on Twitter, he blamed the incident on his backstage beverage of choice: milk.

Oddly enough, both singers have experienced onstage sickness before. At a concert in the Philippines last May, Bieber was reportedly throwing up backstage between numbers. "Sick as a dog… but the show must go on," he tweeted before the concert. "Got called a trooper!"

Gaga, too, was seen running offstage to vomit during a 2011 concert in Romania. When she returned, she came clean to the audience, saying, "I went backstage and vomited. I did not want you to see this… It happens to me sometimes."

It may be the grossest trend ever, but the fact that these stars will preform through sickness shows how dedicated they are to their fans. That, and they should probably be stocking up on Emergen-C!
