Kaley Cuoco has taken her wedding ring off, just a day after announcing her divorce from Ryan Sweeting.

Yesterday every gossip and tabloid magazine around the world was reporting that 29-year-old Kaley Cuoco aka Penny from The Big Bang Theory had announced her divorce from tennis pro Ryan Sweeting, 28.

Kaley’s PR rep had told PEOPLE magazine on Friday that there had been a “mutual decision” to call it quits after 21 months of marriage.

"They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter," Kaley's rep continued.

Still though, it was so hard to believe that this was the same Kaley who had told Ellen she was "madly in love" with Ryan and they were perfect for each other just a year earlier.

When Kaley took to instagram to post a photo, the sad news became all too real. On Saturday, the actress took a photo with her new horse Zaza, who is hilariously poking her tongue out. Her left hand, which is holding onto Zaza, is naked. No engagement ring. No wedding ring. Boy, that was fast.

This isn't the first time we've heard there was trouble in the water though. In April, Kaley fought back against those break up rumours via Instagram.

"I have never been more proud of anyone on this planet – this guy is fighting back from a whirlwind of injuries and not to mention constant "conversation" regarding our marriage and basically any daily decision we decide to make," the actress wrote.

But now, you won't find a happy couple picture on either of the pair's Instagram accounts. It appears they have all been deleted.

After a whirlwind courtship of only a few weeks, and a wedding ceremony in September, 2013, the couple decided to get permanent tattoos to honour their love.

Kaley has Roman numerals of her wedding date (XII XXXI XIII) on her upper back. Scrawled across the bottom part of Ryan's forearm is the word 'Kaley' written in large cursive letters. Oh. Dear.

So while the marriage may be (sadly) over, the uh, reminder of it will be there for quite some time.
