Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, is selling her Sydney mansion ‘Bulwarra’. It’s everything we imagined … and more.
The five bedroom, four bathroom home in Hunters Hill was purchased by Blanchett and husband Andrew Upton in 2005 for $10 million. Ten years later, the couple are expect the property to sell for more than $20 million, thanks to three years of renovations.
Earlier this year Upton announced he would step down from the Sydney Theatre Company after eight years as its artistic director.
According to Domain, Blanchett, Upton and their four children, Dashiell, 14, Roman, 11, Ignatius, 7 and adopted baby daughter Edith will relocate to the United States at the end of the year.
'Bulwarra' was built in 1877 by Herbert Oswin Weynton and sits on 3642 sqm of land overlooking the Paramatta River.
The recently renovated property features a pool pavilion, tennis court, library, studio and guest house.
It's pretty flash if you ask us. And is probably worth the $20 million.
