Zoë Foster (or Zoë Foster Blake, as she’s now called) is the former beauty editor here at Mamamia, wife of comedian Hamish Blake, author, columnist, Tumblr aficionado and general all round it-girl. And did we mention she’s got her own app?
Her recent wedding to Hamish made official the union of two of Australia’s best loved media personalities, carried out in their typical irreverent style (they had a Snickers cake; instead of a first dance, they performed a magic show for their guests).
Zoë and Hamish were friends for years before they got together, even writing a dating manual together in 2009 called ‘Textbook Romance.’ (That sound you hear is the frantic footsteps of hundreds of women rushing out to buy the book).
Zoë’s currently a columnist in the newly launched Sunday Style supplement of The Sunday Telegraph and Sunday Herald Sun, where she writes about popular culture. She also writes relationship advice for Cosmopolitan. Yes, she’s a busy bee.
Last year, Zoë published her third novel The Younger Man, which followed previous books Playing the Field and Air Kisses. She’s also written a how-to book on make up titled Amazing Face (you must go forth and buy it if you don’t already). Zoë’s now working on her fourth novel. Yep, you might call her an annoying over-achiever if she wasn’t So. Damn. Likeable.
As Mamamia’s beauty editor, Zoë’s is almost single-handedly responsible for everything the MM Team know about make up, dry shampoo, applying illuminator (in triangle shapes – duh!) and how to hide a hangover. Read her awesome posts here.
Zoe and Hamish, Australia’s cutest couple?
