Sport reporter Yvonne Sampson just announced her engagement.

Fox Sports presenter Yvonne Sampson has announced she’s engaged to her Channel Nine reporter boyfriend Chris O’Keefe.

The couple told the world about their plans to marry in matching Instagram posts on Tuesday.

Showing off her new ring, Sampson captioned the image “I love him” with a ring emoji. Meanwhile, O’Keefe’s post depicted the pair about to kiss, with the reporter telling followers he was “over the moon”.

The couple been dating for more than three years, the Courier Mail reports. They first met while working Channel Nine’s Brisbane newsroom.

When Sampson relocated to Sydney in 2014 to report from Nine News sports desk, O’Keefe soon followed and now works as the NSW state political reporter.

Sampson has since moved to Fox Sports to host the all-female rugby league show, League Life.

Perhaps there’s something about the Channel Nine newsrooms that encourages long-lasting office romance.

Just last weekend, the Today Show‘s Sylvia Jeffreys and 60 Minutes reporter Pete Stefanovic tied the knot in the picturesque Kangaroo Valley.

Meanwhile, Channel Nine reporters Jess Millward and Joel Dry announced their engagement live on the Today Show late last year.
