X FACTOR. Reigan Derry didn’t make it to the grand final.

Shock. Horror. Oh, the humanity.

WHY ARE WE SHOCKED?

Because she had a phenomenal voice and a lot of support.

WHY DIDN’T SHE MAKE IT?

Because Australia didn’t vote her through (and the judges hadn’t helped, because she tied in their votes with fellow contestant Marlisa, which is why it was a public vote. Democracy.)

WHERE WAS RICKY MARTIN?

He’s not even in this show, guys, that’s the The Voice. Different show, spinny chairs.

WAS THERE A BOYZONE PERFORMANCE WITH RONAN KEATING?

Yes. Yes, there was. Didn’t even realise they were still a thing.

WHO IS LEFT IN THE FINAL THREE FOR THE GRAND FINAL IN THE FINAL EPISODE OF X FACTOR FINALS?

Marlisa Punzalan (a teenage sensation), Dean Ray (indie rock dude, tipped to win) and Brothers 3 (three brothers… was that obvious?).

IS TAYLOR SWIFT GOING TO SING ABOUT HER EX-BOYFRIENDS AT THE GRAND FINAL?

Yes. Yes she is.

DO ANY OF THEM HAVE THE ELLUSIVE X FACTOR THAT WE HAVE ONLY HEARD ABOUT IN LEGENDS AND FANTASIES?

You’ll just have to wait and see.

FYI, Reigan is doing okay, and she kept her chin up. She created a bit of controversy on the show, and showed off her vocal cords, so no doubt we will hear from her again. Reigan left this video message for Kyle and Jackie O straight after being booted off.
