A 22-year-old woman who went to the doctor to investigate her lower back pain was surprised to discover she actually has two vaginas.

A man born with two penises answers all your questions.

Cassandra Bankson, who is a well-known YouTube personality, said a scan revealed she only had one kidney and a second set of working lady junk including the second va-jay-jay, as well as an extra uterus, cervix and fallopian tubes.

“When we got the test results back the doctor said I only had one kidney and flippantly added that I have two vaginas – as she suspected,” Bankson told her YouTube fans.

“There is one vaginal opening but inside there are two vaginas, two uteri, two cervixes and two fallopian tubes.

“Most vaginas are one large cavity but this is a complete separation into two different cavities.”

According to Bankson’s doctor, it’s not unlike “an upside down nose”.

But wait. Does double the vaginas mean double the periods?

Thankfully, she offered up some insights to satisfy us internet creeps.

The complication won’t affect her fertility, which is lucky, although she may have some difficulty conceiving. It does mean a whole lot more periods though, and it’s also cramp city.

“Ever since I was younger I would go to the doctor because I was bleeding for 28 days or I would have two periods a month – but they never suspected I had a second vagina,” Bankson said.

“I always had really bad cramps – I could not move or my bowels would just not want to behave because the cramps were so bad.

Oof. That’s rough.

In terms of having sex, it can go either way and Bankson said she wasn’t worried about explaining her condition to future partners.

“As far as my understanding of how it affects a person’s sex life – for some people having two vaginas can make it very painful – for others I assume there are more nerve endings so it could be more pleasurable.

“Hopefully it won’t be an issue – when I do meet someone I’ll be looking for an emotional connection, somebody to laugh and joke with – the sex side of things isn’t a huge issue for me.”

All I can say is, no wonder she had lower back pain.
