In the early hours of Friday morning, a 25-year-old woman was allegedly attacked by her ex-partner, who she says tried to “ruin her looks” by stabbing her with a pair of scissors 37 times.
The woman, who does not want to be named, has spoken to The Daily Telegraph from her intensive care bed in hospital, where she is still recovering from a terrifying assault.

"I thought I was going to die," the woman said of the moment her 29-year-old ex-partner allegedly broke into her Turrella home and attacked her.
"He attacked and started stabbing me and there was blood everywhere... I was screaming for help and I had to run into my flatmate's room."

The woman said her partner, who police allege she had been trying to end her relationship with before the attack, also attempted to "pop" her breast implants.
