An inquest into the death of 23-year-old Stacey Yean has heard that paramedics talked her out of going to the hospital.
Stacey died in January 2016 after a severe bout of vomiting. Her family and friends were so concerned, they called for an ambulance twice, 7 News reports.
During the first call, Stacey’s mother, Adrienne Yean, was told her daughter was most likely suffering from a bug and the ambulance would not attend. When Stacey’s family called a second time, it’s been claimed paramedics examined her but said she would have to “ride out” a 24-48 hour bug.
