Happy news for this radio host and his wife.
Popular FM radio presenter Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli and his wife Lisa have welcomed a baby boy into the world.
Baby Wipfli was due on January 27th, but Wippa’s wife Lisa had to be induced on Friday after the baby got a little bit too comfortable in there.
The proud father sent out this tweet late yesterday:
It read, “Fashionably late but an entry worth waiting for. Honored to be parents to a perfect little BOY! Mum was best on ground. All our love.”

Earlier this week, the 35 year old revealed he was getting a little impatient, sharing this picture of his very pregnant wife with the caption, “We know you’re in there. 6 days over due, it’s just getting silly.”
Michael “Wippa” Wiplfli announced that his wife, Lisa, was pregnant — live on the Fitzy & Wippa Show on Nova last year.
At the time, he cried. Co-host Fitzy cried. Everyone cried.
“Get stuffed! Are you serious. I’m crying, I’m welling up. There’s going to be a little baby Wipfli. That is so good!” Fitzy said on air during the announcement.
Wippa said: “We bought a house yesterday and we found out that everything was 100% as healthy as possible at the three month mark. Because you go into these things and you don’t know if everything is going to work. I just can’t believe that the result is exactly what we wanted and we’re so lucky we’re healthy enough to make the whole thing happen.”
We expect there was more happy-crying from both these guys just after the birth… and many more moments to come.
