1. Person of interest in William Tyrell case has criminal record of more than 90 offences.
A paedophile who is a “person of interest” in the disappearance of William Tyrell has a criminal record of more than 90 offences across NSW.
News Limited reports that 59-year old Anthony Jones was jailed last week for an aggravated indecent assault on a minor. He has more than 90 offences in his criminal record including striking a child, attacking women, escaping police custody, and intimidated police.
It has been reported that Jones was a member of the Grandparents As Parents Again (GAPA) group. This group was believed to have had links to a paedophile ring operating on the mid-north coast.
His car, a white older model station wagon was impounded for forensic examination two weeks ago.
Detectives have been seeking information about a car that fit the same description seen in the street where William went missing.

2. Neighbour waited five hours for police to attend scene of domestic assault.
WA Today reports that the man, named only Jeff, heard his female neighbour being assaulted and called emergency services.
It took three phone calls and five hours until police arrived.
Jeff said “On Sunday afternoon I heard a woman screaming and glass smashing, and someone being pushed around,”
He leaned over the fence and asked a question about what was going on.
