Where to watch the 2025 Golden Globes in Australia.

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards are just around the corner, and excitement is building as Hollywood prepares to celebrate its finest in film and television.

The Globes are always a glamorous affair, but they also seem to deliver some unhinged, unforgettable moments. Yes, I'm referring to the Selena Gomez gossip-gate and and Timothée Chalamet's romantic escapades. 

With a star-studded guest list and so many incredible nominees this year, the Golden Globes are sure to set the tone for the year ahead in entertainment. Get ready for an evening filled with surprises, laughs, and, of course, the spotlight on the best in the business. 

Here's everything we know about the upcoming 2025 Golden Globes, including where you can watch it and what you can expect.

Where to watch the Golden Globes in Australia?

In previous years, Aussie viewers were able to catch the Golden Globes on Stan. However, this year, you'll be able to catch the show on live television AND two separate platforms.

The 2025 Golden Globes will be airing live on Channel 10, with red carpet coverage kicking off at 11am AEDT. The awards show will begin at 12pm AEDT — and an encore will air on the network at 7:30pm that same night.

Once the live show has wrapped, it will also be available to stream on 10Play, from 4:30pm, and Paramount Plus, from 7pm.

When are the Golden Globes in 2025? 

The 82nd Golden Globes will technically be taking place on Sunday, January 5 at 8pm ET. 

However, with the time difference between Australia and California, this means we'll be watching this at lunchtime the following day. If you are in Australia, the 2025 Golden Globes will be airing on Monday January 6 from 12pm – 3pm AEDT. 

While the show will be kicking off at 12pm, tune in at 11am for the red carpet coverage and catch all the best (and worst) looks of the evening. Make sure to watch along and catch all the excitement as it unfolds.

Who will be hosting the Golden Globes in 2025? 

Hosting the Golden Globes is a pretty huge deal. Many have taken on the high honour over the years, including Ricky Gervais, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Jo Koy, who infamously caused some controversy in 2024.

The 2025 Golden Globes host will be comedian Nikki Glaser. Given the massive year she has had, participating in Netflix's highly-anticipated The Roast of Tom Brady and taking her Alive and Unwell comedy tour around the world, it comes as no surprise that she would be selected to host the award show.

Who is nominated for the Golden Globes in 2025? 

There are so many great nominees being celebrated at the 2025 Golden Globes.

From Wicked stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, to Selena Gomez (who is one of few double nominees across both television and film categories) and everybody's current internet boyfriend, Glen Powell… the list is stacked.
