From sleepwalking to sleep talking, people share the 13 weirdest things they’ve ever done or seen done in their sleep. Single bed, anyone?

1. Put a sock in it.

“I can’t remember what I was dreaming about, but when I was younger (I was 11 or 12, I think) I sleepwalked into my mum’s kitchen from my bedroom holding one of my socks in my hand,” wrote one Reddit user.

“I put the sock in the microwave for 30 seconds and woke up when I tasted warm sock in my mouth.”

2. Feeling sleepy.

“I was talking to my girlfriend and she fell fast asleep mid-conversation. When I asked her if she was listening she just replied ‘McGoogin’. When I asked her the next day she had no recollection or idea what that even meant.” (Watch: People share their last sex dream. Post continues after video.)

3. They see me rollin’

“Back in high school I was camping in the back yard with a few friends (it was Year seven and we lived in the country, OK?) and in my sleep I ?*allegedly*? rolled completely across my friend, and then back again a minute later.”

4. Dinner is served.

“I stuffed a bag of frozen hash-browns into a bottle of Wild Turkey for some reason. Woke up the next day and was like ‘WHO DID THIS???’ Then I realised I was alone all night.”

5. Royal chats.

6. Beware the hat.

"My brother once woke up and starting saying 'The man! The man in the hat!' then fell back asleep."

7. Superman.

"My boyfriend once woke me up in the middle of the night completely panicked and made me get up and come and stand in the hallway with him. He kept saying 'It's coming, it's coming!'. Turns out he had a very realistic dream that a 4WD was going to crush us in our sleep. He still talks about how he 'rescued' me from the car and doesn't think he was any less heroic given that there was actually no danger."

8. You shall not pass.

"My husband sleeps talks nightly. Full sentences multiple times a night. It's incredibly annoying. I have recordings of him saying things such as: 'We do not allow rebels past this point in the gate.' 'Everyone deserves new shoes.' 'You ruined Popsicles forever'," said one Reddit user.

"A lot of times it'll be about military things (he is in the Army). I think he's just been conditioned to be able to wake up at a moments notice so he never fully falls into deep sleep." (Post continues after gallery.)

9. No-pants party.

"One time I was at our family coast house and walked out of the house and got very close to the road before I stood on a prickly branch and woke up. In my underwear. At about 2am... I used to sleep walk all the time and then I just kind of grew out of it or something."

10. Sorry, Grandma.

"Yelling at the top of my lungs 'F*ck you it's a green car!' in the room next to my grans," wrote one Redditor.

11. Inner comedian.

"I woke up laughing hysterically and I couldn't stop. I have no idea what I was dreaming about or what made me laugh but I could not stop. So funny."

12. I swear.

"I'm a big sleep talker and once at a high school camp, apparently I sat up and started swearing and telling everyone to 'Shut the f*ck up!' and when someone came over to me to see if I was OK, I was sound asleep."

13. Sur-pee-rise.

"My brother used to sleep walk - when he was 12 or so I woke up one night with him standing next to my bed peeing all over it, and me. I shouted and my parents rushed in and woke him up. He thought he was in the bathroom and got really really upset when he realised he wasn't." wrote a Reddit user.
