It's been 14 years since Veronica Mars first aired. Here's where the cast are now.

Good news, Marshmallows. Veronica Mars is back.

On Saturday night, streaming service Stan surprised fans of the teen detective drama by dropping ALL EIGHT of the new Veronica Mars reboot episodes.

The fourth season of the series picks up where the 2014 fan-crowdfunded Veronica Mars The Movie (which you can also watch on Stan) left off. After spending years trying to escape her Neptune life, Veronica finds herself back where it all started.

Almost all of your favourite characters have returned to the eerily crime-plagued town of Neptune, but seeing as the last time many saw them was back when the show was cancelled in 2007, they look a little different.

To celebrate the return of Veronica Mars, we decided to take a look at what the series’ original cast are up to now.

Here’s what we discovered:

Kristen Bell aka Veronica Mars.

Since leaving Neptune behind, Kristen Bell has gone on to have an incredibly successful career in Hollywood.

Since her time on Veronica Mars, Bell has appeared in a number of TV shows including House of Lies and The Good Place. She also voiced Anna in Disney's Frozen and was the voice of Gossip Girl on Gossip Girl and appeared in movies Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bad Moms.

In 2013, Bell married fellow actor Dax Shepard. The pair share two daughters together.

The 39-year-old, who played title character Veronica Mars in the show, also played a major role in writer Rob Thomas' Kickstarter campaign to make the 2014 Veronica Mars movie.

Jason Dohring aka Logan Echolls.

Jason Dohring played bad boy and Veronica's on-again, off-again boyfriend Logan Echolls on Veronica Mars.

Dohring, who was a fan-favourite on the show, went on to appear in a number of projects after Veronica Mars including Moonlight, The Originals and iZombie.

The actor, who has three children with his wife Lauren Kutner, returns to Veronica Mars on Stan.

Teddy Dunn aka Duncan Kane.

Teddy Dunn played Veronica's ex-boyfriend Duncan Kane on the show.

Since leaving the show in the second season, Dunn appeared in a few projects including Jumper.

Eventually, however, Dunn decided to turn away from the entertainment world and to go back to school. He's currently working as an associate at a New York City law firm.

Percy Daggs III aka Wallace Fennel.

Percy Daggs III played Veronica's partner in crime and best friend Wallace Fennel on Veronica Mars.

Since his time on the show, Daggs hasn't been very active in the acting world. Besides appearing in the Veronica Mars movie, Daggs also had a small part on iZombie and appeared in we series The New Adventures of Peter and Wendy.

Daggs returns as Wallace Fennel in the new season of Veronica Mars.

Ryan Hansen aka Dick Casablancas.

Actor and comedian Ryan Hansen appeared in Veronica Mars as resident school bully Dick Casablancas – one of the richest kids at Neptune High.

Since the series, Hansen has remained close friends with his co-star Bell, who he once lived with.

The now-37-year-old has appeared in a number of TV series including Party Down, 2 Broke Girls and Bad Judge. He also has a YouTube Premium series Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television. The web series has featured cameos from Kirsten Bell, Dax Shepard and Jane Lynch.

Francis Capra aka Eli 'Weevil' Navarro.

Francis Capra appeared in Veronica Mars as Eli 'Weevil' Navarro.

Although Weevil was a leader of a biker gang on the show, he often helped Veronica solve cases.

Besides his role on the show, Capra appeared on Heroes and The Strain. Since 2014, however, Capra hasn't had an acting credit. As of recently, Capra works on the production side of things in the entertainment business.

Enrico Colantoni aka Keith Mars.

With Veronica's mother not around, Enrico Colantoni had an important role in Veronica Mars as Veronica's father Keith Mars. Keith Mars, who was formerly the sheriff of Balboa County, worked as a private investigator on the show.

The now-56-year-old actor has since appeared in a number of shows including Flashpoint, The Kennedys and Person of Interest.

He also directed two episodes of iZombie.

Tina Majorino aka Cindy 'Mac' Mackenzie.

Tina Majorino played tech genius and Veronica's close friend Cindy 'Mac' Mackenzie on the show.

Majorino, who started out as a child actor, has also appeared in Napoleon Dynamite, True Blood, Grey's Anatomy and Legends.
