Travis Kelce used his podcast as a 'personal dating app'. Taylor Swift has brutally honest thoughts.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are keeping us well fed.

Just a day after Kelce shared a rare glimpse into his relationship with the pop star, Swift has given us all the juicy details we've been dying to know.

Appearing on Kelce's podcast, New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce, Swift took us back to the start.

"I owe a lot to this podcast. This podcast got me a boyfriend, ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago," she joked.

Of course, she's referencing the time when Kelce told Jason how he tried (and failed) to give Swift a friendship bracelet and one of her concerts.

"If you're up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it," Kelce said.

Now Swift has finally shared exactly what she thought of the spectacle.

"He threw a man tantrum," she said.

"This dude didn't get a meet and greet and he's making it everyone's problem. That's what I thought at first."

It turns out, Kelce never even reached out to Swift's team to organise meeting up.

"When this podcast came out, I was like, 'Did he ever reach out to be like in the tents or did we know he was in the building?'" Swift continued.

"He thought that because he knows the elevator lady that he could talk to her about just getting down."

And of course, "I got denied", Kelce admitted.

But, as we all know, the bold gesture (and "tantrum") paid off.

"I'm not a very I'm not an online person at all… like I'm genuinely terrified to open my DMs… so this kind of felt more like I was in an 80s John Hughes movie and he was just like standing outside of my window with a boom box just being like, 'I want to date you! Do you want to go on a date with me? I made you a friendship bracelet!'," Swift said.

Kelce chimed in: "Just come outside and meet me. Just meet me once. Give me just give me a chance."

"I was like, 'If this guy isn't crazy, which is a big if, this is sort of what I've been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was teenager," Swift continued.

And Kelce, well, he was "sitting there at the Eras Tour listening to every single one of those songs like I know what she wants me to do."

As Swift said: "It was wild but it worked."

And boy is she glad it worked.

The gushing admissions come just a day after Kelce shared with fans how their romance blossomed in the early days.

"It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked," the NFL star told GQ Magazine in a lengthy profile.

They're just a coupla kids in love over here.

"Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people," he said.

"When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love."

Swift and Kelce first went public with their romance in September 2023 when the singer was spotted cheering him on during a home game for the Kansas City Chiefs. Since then, they've been joined at the hip, making several loved-up public appearances.

Kelce knows that the world is watching on, chiming in with their takes about what's real and what's for publicity. But he doesn't care. He knows what's true in their hearts.

"Nothing I've ever done has been a controlled, organised process," he said.

"When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with.

"We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It kind of just took the f*** off."

Dating one of the world's biggest pop stars often means taking the backseat to your partner's fame — and that's fine by Kelce. In fact, he loves getting to be "the plus one".

"I get to go and be that fan. Because I am a fan," he said,

"And it's so cool that I get to experience her being that plus one for me on the football field…. I feel that same enjoyment every time she comes to my shows."

Kelce told GQ that soon after meeting, they realised what they have in common — that they both entertain sold-out stadiums. It's a unique experience that helps them truly understand one another.

"I hadn't experienced somebody in the same shoes as me, having a partner who understands the scrutiny, understands the ups and downs of being in front of millions," he said.

"She may not think of herself as an athlete. She will never tell anyone that she is an athlete. But I've seen what she goes through. I've seen the amount of work that she puts on her body, and it's mind-blowing."

In the profile, writer Sean Manning observed Kelce talks about Swift freely, "with the confident adoration of a sturdy relationship, and with obvious pride. Not macho pride in his having attained the seemingly unattainable, or the overprotective possessiveness so often confused for chivalry."

It paints the picture of someone who just really loves his partner — and if that isn't relationship goals, then I don't know what is.

The interview dropped just hours after Swift revealed she was releasing her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. She just about broke the internet when a countdown clock started ticking on her website.

When the timer hit zero, Swift appeared in a teaser for Kelce's New Heights podcast this week.

"So I wanted to show you something… This is my brand-new album, The Life of a Showgirl," Swift said, holding up a blurred out album as Kelce chimed in, "TS12!"

Nothing says "I'm sure my partner's 'the one'" like choosing to announce your next album on your boyfriend's sports podcast.
