'It's the best gig in the world.' Every Travel Guides star returning in 2025.

Travel Guides has become a beloved weekly watch thanks to its heartfelt and hilarious portrayal of everyday people travelling the world. Is there really anything more relatable or satisfying than seeing other people's travel mayhem? I think not.

The show follows diverse families and groups exploring global destinations. Whether it's a cheeky family adventure or a quirky pair of travel buddies, we really can't seem to get enough of the authentic and unscripted moments that unfold.

Luckily for us, Channel Nine has confirmed that the fan-favourite travel show will be back in 2025.

The new season will see the guides travel to New York City, immersing themselves in the stunning landscapes of Kakadu in the Northern Territory, doing Thailand on a budget, and enjoying breathtaking views in the Swiss Alps.

"The new series of Travel Guides promises more laughs, shocks and surprises than ever before," Nine shared in a statement.

While some details are still under wraps, we do know who will be returning for the next season. Here's what we know so far…

"As long as we're fit and healthy, we want to do Travel Guides," Kevin and Janetta told TV Week in 2023. "It's the best gig in the world."

Your favourite retired couple will be returning for their ninth season of Travel Guides in 2025. Kevin and Janetta have long been known as a sophisticated couple with a keen appreciation for life's finer pleasures.

With a love for great food, the two add that little layer of luxury to the show.

They're the three best friends that anyone could have. Am I right?

Besties Kev, Dorian and Teng will all be coming back for the next season of Travel Guides. These boys may have first met working at Target together, but since then they have seen some amazing sights around the world.

Known for their love of activities that get your blood pumping, and their humour, the show wouldn't be the same without these boys.

Karly and Bri were the newest addition to the show in 2024. But fans were quick to welcome them into the Travel Guides family.

Having met previously on Beauty and the Geek on Channel Nine, Karly and Bri are no strangers to television. However, given their enthusiasm on the show, it comes as no surprise that they were both fans of Travel Guides when they were cast.

"Getting the phone call to be Travel Guides was a surreal moment for us as we're such big fans of the show. We haven't done much travelling around the world - we've pretty much only been to Bali - so to be able to see the world in all its glory is a once in a lifetime opportunity. And to do it with my best friend is amazing — we're so grateful," Karly told Nine.

Where there are extreme activities, there also need to be more moderate endeavours. And Matt and Brett are the perfect duo for the latter.

If you're a fan of the show, you'll know that these two prefer to pass on the more high-adrenaline activities. Which, let's be honest, is very relatable.

Known by many as the 'voice of reason' of Travel Guides, Matt and Brett will be making their return to the show in 2025.

Mark, Cathy, Victoria and Jonathan are the OGs of Travel Guide. Having been a part of the show since the very beginning, we've really gotten to know the Fren family over the past seven seasons.

With a quirky and positive attitude, as well as their constant banter, the Fren family are a delight to watch on screen.
