Tracy Grimshaw sent a message to her fans after horse riding accident.

The avid horse rider was injured after she was thrown from a horse.

Tracy Grimshaw is recovering after her horse riding accident early Thursday morning. The A Current Affair host tweeted her thanks to supporters and thanked God she was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

A Current Affair host Tracy Grimshaw has been airlifted to hospital following a horse-riding accident on Thursday morning in Sydney.

The Daily Telegraph reports that Grimshaw was wearing a helmet when she was reportedly thrown from a horse on a property that she apparently owns. The horse was spooked by a lawnmower, The Daily Telegraph said.

Grimshaw was reportedly unconscious for 15 minutes following the accident, and was taken to a nearby hospital by CareFlight in a stable condition.

“Tracy had a horse-riding accident this morning and was taken to hospital by CareFlight,” a Nine spokesperson said.
