Toddler's body found at Mildura property, two hours after girl reported missing.

The body of a two-year-old girl has been found at a property at Mildura, in north-western Victoria.

Police were called to a property on Oram Court to investigate a report of a missing toddler, just after 3:00pm on Tuesday.

The girl was found dead about 5:30pm, police said.

Victoria Police earlier appealed for the public assistance in finding the girl, but quickly removed the release.

Homicide Squad detectives are investigating.
