Time flies when you're young, hot, and having fun! Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner are fast approaching their second anniversary, though it's hard to believe this Hollywood couple is even real. And that is not a diss! But it is… a thought starter.

In April 2023, celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi posted an anonymous tip that sent the internet ablaze: "Multiple sources have told me that Timmy C has a new girl… Kylie Jenner."

Timothée Hal Chalamet, of Little Women fame, dating Kylie Jenner, of Kardashian dynasty fame? Oh. What an intriguing pair. Did Kylie watch Laurie's monologue and fall head-over-heals for this dramatic man? One could only assume.

There was something so unexpected yet delightful about this pairing, that you simply couldn't look away. Every little sighting and update that made this rumour seem like more of a reality was… thrilling.

This MUST be how archaeologists feel about digging up dinosaurs. Except, this was just deranged people on the internet unpacking clues and hidden details to discover whether or not two hot people were indeed dating.

A little digging, and it turned out Timothée and Kylie had been, at the very least, chatting and flirting since January 2023. But unlike almost every other romance in the Kar-Jenner household, this one has been shrouded in mystery.

But while not everyone understands this couple, they continue to prove their haters wrong.

At this year's Academy Awards, Jenner might have skipped the red carpet, but she was waiting inside to support her Timmy for his Oscars nomination.

This is the third ceremony Kylie has joined her boyfriend at this awards season, after she sat by his side for the Golden Globes and the BAFTAs.

It was clear when they attended the 2025 Golden Globe Awards together that their romance would not be following the path of most Kar-Jenner love stories.

While the famous family, and Kylie herself, are known for putting everything out there, Kylie's romance with Timmy has remained somewhat of a mystery. As the couple attended their second Golden Globe Awards together, they skipped the red carpet. Kylie, ever the centre of attention, again chose to simply join her beau inside for the ceremony.

Now, in March 2025, she's done the same again as they hit the Oscars together.

Is this a lowkey love? Seems to be! And fans can't get enough.

Instead of focusing on the many rumours that follow their romance, they've focused on their love story while the world watches. And for the Gen Z girlies, this romance is as A-list as it gets.

How did Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner meet?

The news of their rumoured romance came several months after the duo first publicly crossed paths, at Jean Paul Gaultier's Paris Fashion Week show in January 2023.

They were seen giggling and chatting amid a group of other famous faces. Giggling! It was so on, we were all just too blind to see it.

Perhaps the reason we were all blinded by the flashing lights of fashion week had something to do with Kylie's relationship status at the time.

It had been reported (yet again) that Kylie had split from Travis Scott, her on-off partner of five years and the father of her two children, Stormi and Aire Webster. Having been together since 2017, with several breaks and even more rumoured splits in between, fans were not so certain this reported break-up was real.

But, it turned out they had indeed parted ways sometime at the end of 2022, leaving her single and ready to mingle at Paris Fashion Week.

It's unclear when they actually started dating, with several months in between their 'flirty' public encounter in January and the first reports of their romance in April.

So, we are simply 'holding space' for the concept of their second anniversary.

What we do know is that following the gossip post on Deuxmoi, it was reported by outlets including TMZ and People Magazine that Timmy and Kylie were a casual couple.

A source told People Magazine the two were "hanging out and getting to know each other."

"Kylie is having fun. After years of back and forth with Travis [Scott], she just wants to date without any pressure," the source revealed.

Inside Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner's relationship…

Glimpses of the couple surfaced here and there throughout 2023, but always via the prying lens of paparazzi. Unlike Kylie's previous relationships with Travis Scott and Tyga, this time she was keeping things under wraps.

Even Jennifer Lawrence — a friend of Timothée and major fan of the Kar-Jenner family — wanted more deets. On Watch What Happens Live, she joked "I don't like that he didn't get my permission, but I support it."

In May 2023, Kylie's ex Travis Scott seemingly took a swipe at her new beau in his song 'Meltdown'. He included lyrics about Willy Wonka — who Timothée was portraying in the musical movie, Wonka — before challenging his ex to find someone as "hot as me".

It doesn't seem like the lyrics had any impact on the couple. In fact, I doubt anything could rattle Lil Timmy Tim, the most chaotic celebrity of all time. But nice try, Travis Scott!

Despite the lyrics and paparazzi pics, Timmy and Kylie were not really 'official' until they attended the Renaissance Tour together. Two Beyoncé fans, drunk in love! The duo were seen kissing, dancing, and hanging out with Kylie's sister, Kendall Jenner.

Forget a Facebook status, this was the celebrity equivalent of marking themselves 'in a relationship'.

From there, it was on! Kind of. They're not exactly posting social media snaps together — but from the US Open to New York Fashion Week, they stopped shying away from enjoying life together.

And look at the material! Timmy's well-known fan account, Club Chalamet, all but had a meltdown on the day this photo dropped (I mean… she kind of did have a meltdown. I live for her updates).

Kylie has also been a staple at Timmy's premieres and events, including the 2024 Golden Globe Awards where they made their official public debut as a couple.

While the business mogul and literal billionaire is usually a confident gal about town, it was clear she was feeling shy as she entered into his world. There was a whole load of hand holding and gazing into each other's eyes, as the show carried on behind them.

The actor introduced his new girlfriend to his long-time friend and two-time director Greta Gerwig, who was seen telling Kylie this was "the happiest" she'd seen Timothée. Swoon!

In the year since, they've still been one of those elusive Hollywood couples that only offer up an occasional glimpse into their love life without ever actually posting one another.

Aside from that one kiss at the Golden Globes, they haven't had a whole lot of PDA. Which is rare (and frustrating) for any fan of the Kar-Jenner crew, who are used to seeing their romances play out on screen.

But this fan? I'm living for each and every update.

Most recently, Kylie and her momager Kris Jenner supported Timothée at the premiere of his film A Complete Unknown. What I wouldn't give for a fly-on-the-wall experience!

Now, they've made another Golden Globes appearance (can you even BELIEVE) at the 2025 awards show held this week.

Consider me thrilled by this news. Love truly is magical, you guys.
