10 times Sonny Blake was the cutest thing on the internet.

You guys, it’s Sonny. I can’t anymore. I simply CANNOT.

The blue-eyed, pudgy-cheeked two-year-old son of hilarious radio host Hamish Blake and all around boss lady Zoe Foster Blake is known for his very cute escapades. From pretending to be a miniature bellboy, to playing the drums, to dressing up in legitimately ridiculous costumes, Sonny Blake brings nothing but pure joy to peoples lives.

But sometimes, Sonny is too cute. You know what I’m talking about. It’s the kind of cuteness that makes you throw your phone across the room because you can’t handle it, and then pick it up again because you must tag everyone you’ve ever known.

It’s the kind of cuteness that makes you yell at the nearest person, ‘I CAN’T ANYMORE. HE HAS SIMPLY BECOME TOO CUTE. I WANT TO EAT HIM. HE IS JUST A BABY AND EVERY TIME HE DOES ANYTHING IT’S JUST SO FUNNY. I LOVE HIM AND WHY DON’T I HAVE A SONNY AND HOW CAN I GET ONE.’

So to cope with my many feelings, I’ve begged my editor to let me put together the 10 times Sonny was the cutest thing on the Internet (lol, more like 110, amirite?!)

Ahem.

#1: When he was born, and his cheeks were completely and utterly ludicrous.

When Sonny was born, Australia squealed with collective excitement. Not only was he born to two of the most likable people in the country, but his cheeks were really, really chubby. Like, obscenely chubby. They gave him the cutest little expression, like he was always being overpowered by his cheeks. And they made us wonder whether maybe he was hiding something in them for later…

#2: Two words: Croissant. Baby. 

Croissant baby was a goddam masterpiece. A MASTERPIECE, I tell you. Hamish Blake accompanied his divine creation with the caption, 'This is what happens when you notice your sons legs kind of look like croissants and you have a fair bit of left over bread around the house and also a spare hour...'

Yes, well, thank you Hamish. Nothing quite makes my day like a few savory goods arranged to look like Sonny Blake. Nothing.

#3: When Sonny realised he had hit the festive season pretty hard. 

Look, it had been a long Christmas break. And Sonny's a good looking kid. Relatives, friends and downright strangers were probably feeding him for three months straight. So when it came to February, he noticed his beautiful, soft tum was looking particularly...round. So Hamish captured it for Instagram, obviously.

That moment every February where you realise you hit it pretty hard during the festive season...

#5: When Sonny found his long-lost twin, and thought he was a pretty great guy.

#6: The storm trooper incident. 

There's a moment where each of us realise we're probably not going to grow up to be our favourite movie character. But this moment was particularly traumatic for little Sonny, who became aware that he simply would never be able to fit his glorious belly in the uniform of a storm trooper.

#7: That time his dad mistook him for a miniature bellboy. 

EUGH. Don't you hate it when you think the toddler pushing your suitcase is a member of the hotel staff, only to find that it's actually your child, and their service was only sub-par?

Hey thanks for having us @qtbondi but if I can be honest, my god do the tiny bell boys at your hotel leave something to be desired in terms of efficiency.

  #8: When Sonny became an esteemed musician.  Sonny Blake playing the drums was one of the highlights of my year, personally. When I saw it, I furiously tagged everyone I knew in case, for some devastating reason, they hadn't seen it yet. I then messaged my friends saying, 'HE IS PLAYING THE FRIGGIN DRUMS AND THEN HE STOPS AND LOOKS AT THE STICKS BECAUSE HE IS JUST A BABY PLAYING THE DRUMS AND I LOVE HIM.'

#9: When a certain little boy got his first haircut!

Being the international sensation that he is, Sonny needs to keep himself looking like the best baby in the business. He also had a pretty hectic second birthday coming up and needed to impress the Thomas the Tank Engine cake he was crushing on. So he got his first haircut. Did I see the snapchats? Of course. Did I screenshot a few of them to look back on later? Maybe. This was a MILESTONE. And I'm so glad my phone allowed me to be there.

#10: When he learnt to talk, and straight up broke the Internet. 

Confession time: It was one video in particular that inspired me to storm into work this morning in a huff, demanding to write about one thing and one thing only. I behaved something like this.

But once you watch it, you'll understand completely.

Because last night, Sonny gave us a running commentary of his reaction to a certain drink. You see, it's his favvwwwit. It's hard to miss, because he says it literally like 5 times. He knows it's a big word. Sonny also would like more of his favvwwit drink, please. I want what he's having.
