Trying to explain to someone Netflix’s new documentary series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem, and Madness is… difficult.
It’s hard to accurately sum up just how crazy the seven-episode series is, but given the current climate, the most apt description I can give is: Tiger King is probably the only show right now that is still more insane than the outside world.
Given that whole global pandemic, self-isolation thing… Yeah, that’s saying a lot.
The Tiger King trailer is wild but not even this can prepare you for the twists and turns in this series. Post continues below video.
A very quick rundown: It follows the story of Joe Exotic, who operated a big cat zoo in Oklahoma, and a few other ‘exotic animal enthusiasts’ around the United States.
Over seven episodes, co-directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin show these people’s truly bizarre lives in a story that includes murder-for-hire, polygamy, a cult, a mysterious disappearance, heavy drug use and exploitation of animals and humans.
It’s a wild ride from beginning to end, so naturally people are taking to social media to share their disbelief. Here are the best reactions from Twitter users who dared to watch Netflix’s most bonkers new show.
