It was funny, it was smart, it was heartwarming, would often make us shed a tear or two and unbelievably those tears weren’t caused by the totally tragic fashions and haircuts.
From 1988 to 1993 The Wonder Years was one of the most popular shows on Aussie TV.
Every Thursday night it aired on Channel 10 and was perfect wholesome, risk-free viewing for the whole family.
Who could ever forget the tumultuous relationship between first loves and best friends Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper? Kevin’s fraught relationship with his big brother Wayne and his rebellious, anti-war protesting,hippie sister. Parents Jack and Norma worked hard keeping the family together.
If, like us, you felt you grew up with the Arnolds - you will be pleased to know that the cast reunited on Saturday night at the 2015 TV Land Awards.
Karen, Wayne, Norma, Winnie and Kevin were all together.
The only cast member missing was Dan Lauria, who played the father of the family Jack.
