Today we’re welcoming back our regular style post and we hope you missed it as much as we have. In case you haven’t clicked here before, it’s aimed to be a snapshot of what’s happening in the ever fascinating world of fashion.
Think trends, news and light-hearted discussion. At the very least, you’ll be able to amuse your friends with some er, rather interesting trivia this week.
The Camel toe cup
Attention all wearers of tight pants. You can now be saved from the embarrassment of frontal wedgies forever. One British woman was frustrated at the lack of “camel toe solutions” on the market and decided to design her own, thus, SmoothGroove was born. According to the company’s website “a staggering 55% of women, irrespective of age, size or weight, experience camel toe at some point in their lives”. That’s a pretty staggering percentage.
It costs £15, comes in three colours (black, white and clear) but sorry ladies only one size. The FAQ’s section of the website sheds some light on this, “our research so far suggests that there are only very minor differences between women of all shapes, sizes and ages.”
One size fits all indeed.
The one-eyed boob dress
Quick question: If you’re a little known fashion designer, how do you draw worldwide attention to your collection? Here’s a tip: Send a one-eyed boob dress down the catwalk.
Gianni Molaro did just that at AltaRoma, Italy’s version of couture week. It’s hard to say where the designer’s inspiration stemmed from… possibly what Lady Gaga would wear on an episode of Futurama?

The Amy Winehouse tribute, is it too soon?
