A US family has been left so terrified by disturbing letters sent to their home that they are suing for the right to knock it down.
Since purchasing the six-bedroom New Jersey property in 2014, Derek and Maria Broaddus have received a series of notes signed by a mysterious figure who calls him/herself ‘The Watcher’.
“Who I am?” a letter read. “I am the Watcher,” stating the home’s walls and windows “allow me to watch you and track you as you move through the house.”
“Do you need to fill the house with the young blood I requested?” one letter said, according to court documents viewed by The Washington Post. “Once I know their names I will call to them and draw them out to me.”
“Have they found out what is in the walls yet?” read another. “In time they will.”
