No, but seriously, guys. Let all the nostalgic feels come as they may because Anne Hathaway confirmed the news we didn’t know we needed to hear on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.

“There is a script for the third movie. There is a script,” she revealed.

“I want to do it. Julie wants to do it. Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen.”

Us too, in case you were wondering.

So, in light of this heartwarming news, we thought we’d see where our favourite cast members are now.

Mia Thermopolis AKA Anne Hathaway.

It's safe to say, we all know what Anna Hathaway has been up to since her breakout role as the frizzy-haired, mono-browed princess-to-be.

Her career hasn't at all been shy of the limelight, landing roles like Andy in The Devil Wears Prada, Kim in the acclaimed film Rachel Getting Married, Fantine in Les Misérables (for which she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2012), and Amelia in Interstellar.

In 2004, Hathaway began dating Italian real estate developer Raffaello Follieri. Their relationship lasted four years, until Follieri was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for defrauding millions from investors.

Hathaway gave birth to her son Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman on March 24, 2016, with her husband of six years, Adam Shulman.

Clarisse Renaldi AKA Julie Andrews.

Since playing a queen in The Princess Diaries and its sequel, Julie Andrews has continued to effortlessly portray royalty by voicing Queen Lillian, Fiona's mother, in Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, and Shrek Ever After.

After lending her voice to the popular franchise, it seems the actress realised her smooth, elegant voice could be put to good use. She has since done voice work for Despicable Me as Marlena, reprising her role in its third film, and is set to voice Karathan is DC's upcoming Aquaman movie.

Joe AKA Héctor Elizondo.

We knew his friendly face from classics like Pretty Woman and Runaway Bride, and we grew to love him even more as sweet, reliable Joe, the driver turned love interest of Clarisse.

Turns out, Elizondo was and still remains very good friends with director Garry Marshall, who directed the aforementioned films starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, as well as both The Princess Diaries films.

He played the role of Edgar in the 2010 romantic comedy Valentine's Day, Lester in New Year's Eve, and Lance Wallace in Mother's Day - all of which were directed by Marshall.

As for television, Elizondo is most known for his role as Dr. Phillip Watters on Chicago Hope, for which he won an Emmy Award. He now plays Ed Alzate on Last Man Standing, alongside Tim Allen.

Lilly Moscovitz AKA Heather Matarazzo.

Since portraying the quintessentially honest friend Lilly - we've all got a Lilly - Matarazzo has appeared in the 2004 film Saved! alongside The Princess Diaries co-star Mandy Moore, and Sisters, which starred Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

In 2018, she was cast in the film, Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot, with Joaquin Phoenix, Jack Black, Jonah Hill, and Rooney Mara.

Matarazzo has made guest appearances on television shows The L Word, Law and Order, and Grey's Anatomy, among others.

In 2018, Matarazzo married writer and comedian Heather Turman.

Michael Moscovitz AKA Robert Carmine Schwartzman.

Before portraying Mia's quiet, brooding love interest in 2001, Schwartzman landed roles in his cousin Sofia Coppola's first two films which she directed - Lick the Star and The Virgin Suicides. He worked with Coppola again in 2010, in her film drama Somewhere.

He has been cast in the upcoming indie film Lost Transmissions alongside Simon Pegg, Juno Temple, and Alexandra Daddario.

Schwartzman has also dabbled in some directing himself, perhaps an inevitable move considering his relation to some of the directing greats such as Francis Ford Coppola and Roman Coppola. He directed Dreamland in 2016 and The Unicorn in 2018.

He is the cousin and brother of fellow actors Nicholas Cage and Jason Schwartzman respectively.

Schwartzman is also the lead singer of the rock band, Rooney.

Lana Thomas AKA Mandy Moore.

Though The Princess Diaries was not her first taste of fame - her single, Candy, was released in 1999 - the movie marked just the beginning of what would become an impressive career in Hollywood for Moore.

After being cast as the romantic lead in the 2002 Nicholas Sparks remake, A Walk to Remember, Moore starred in many more films such as Saved!, Chasing Liberty, License to Wed, Because I Said So, Tangled, and 47 Meters Down.

She has had roles in television shows How I Met Your Mother, Entourage, and The Simpsons, however currently stars in the popular drama series, This Is Us.

Moore was married to Ryan Adams from 2009 to 2016, and in November 2018 she married musician Taylor Goldsmith.

Josh Bryant AKA Erik von Detten.

Before starring alongside Anne Hathaway in 2001, von Detton appeared in 55 episodes of The Days of Our Lives at the age of just ten. He was also the voice of Sid the Destroyer in Toy Story.

After working as an on-screen actor in The Princess Diaries, Bryant lent his voice to movies Jimmy Neutron and Toy Story 3, as well as television shows Avatar: The Last Air Bender and Family Guy.

von Detton has left the acting industry and now works as a broker in Los Angeles.

Jeremiah AKA Patrick John Flueger.

Flueger appeared in the 2011 Footloose remake as Chuck Cranston, but moved to television soon after.

He is perhaps best known for his leading roles as Shawn Farrell in television show 4400, and Adam Ruzek in Chicago P.D.

Vice Principal Gupta AKA Sandra Oh.

After just having co-hosted the 2019 Golden Globes with fellow actor Andy Sandberg and winning an award herself, it's not hard to believe woman of the hour Sandra Oh convincingly embodied the ever-so comedic Vice Principal Gupta almost 18 years ago.

Oh later played Frankie Muniz's teacher in Big Fat Liar, Diane Lane's best friend in Under the Tuscan Sun, the voice of Ting Ting in Mulan 2, and most notably, ruthless Dr. Cristina Yang in Shonda Rhyme's television show Grey's Anatomy.

She now stars as Eve Polastri in Killing Eve, for which she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress - Television Series Drama.

The Canadian-Korean actress was married to filmmaker Alexander Payne from 2003-2006.
