
It seems Australia is entranced by The Masked Singer.
To date, we’ve watched a handful of celebrity contestants in ornate costumes compete in musical challenges, with Nikki Webster, Gretel Killeen and Aussie cricketer, Brett Lee, unmasked so far.
While the show has been a ratings hit in Australia, the original South Korean concept titled King of Mask Singer, has been dominating screens all over the world since its debut in 2015.
It’ll be making its way to the UK in 2020, with Rita Ora, Davina McCall, and Ken Jeong on the judging panel, and it’s just started its second season in the US.

Ryan Reynolds
While promoting Deadpool 2 in South Korea, Ryan Reynolds made a pit stop to the King of Mask Singer studio for a guest performance. Dressed as a unicorn, Reynolds performed the classic show tune rendition of ‘Tomorrow’ from the musical Annie, and the audience lost it when he revealed his identity.
