Kim Kardashian claims that someone put a 'hit' on her.

Kim Kardashian has shared details of a frightening experience involving a death threat from someone close to her.

In the trailer for Season 7 of The Kardashians, which dropped on 1 October, the reality star admitted she received a tip-off from her private investigators.

"I got a call from investigators," Kim explains in the trailer. "Someone extremely close to me put a hit out on my life."

The shocking disclosure clearly affected the entire family, with the trailer showing their tense reactions to the news. Kendall Jenner captures the atmosphere following Kim's revelation. "Everyone's kind of on edge," she said.

The youngest sister, Kylie Jenner, also shares her own unsettling experience: "I heard footsteps walking into my room."

The trailer builds tension with scenes of sirens and police arriving at the Kardashians' residence. Kim's emotional state is evident as she admitted, "I'm terrified out of my mind."

In what appears to be a later confessional, a tearful Kim reflects on the ordeal, saying "I'm happy it's over."

Caitlyn Jenner has mended her relationship with the Kardashians.

The new season looks set to document this tentative reconciliation as the family attempts to bring Caitlyn Jenner back into the fold.

Following their reported rift after Caitlyn's 2015 gender transition — during which she publicly criticised Kris Jenner and their former marriage — the Kardashian sisters had maintained distance from the 75-year-old.

However, as they prepare to sell their family home and close this chapter of their lives, Kris appears ready to make peace with her former spouse, particularly for the benefit of their shared daughters, Kendall and Kylie.

Kendall addresses the family tension directly. "I think my mum's had a hard time inviting my dad to some of our family gatherings, but my dad should be included in things," the model shared.

Meanwhile, 69-year-old Kris seems less optimistic about the potential reunion going smoothly. In a chaotic moment, she's shown praying and saying: "Dear Heavenly Father, give me the patience, because I'm about to lose my s…"

Rob Kardashian is back too!

Rob Kardashian makes a surprise return to the show this season after stepping away from public life in recent years to prioritise his health and role as a father.

The 38-year-old's appearance seems to catch even his own family off guard. As Khloe, 41, arrives at what looks like a family gathering, she asks with excitement: "Is Bob here?"

The camera reveals the youngest Kardashian sibling is indeed present, prompting an enthusiastic reaction from Scott Disick. "Oh my God!" he exclaims at the exciting cameo.

A big rift is growing between Kourtney Kardashian and her family.

The trailer suggests there is growing tension between sisters Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, with both expressing concerns about their relationship.

Khloe opens up about sensing distance from her older sister. "I think Kourtney is mad at me," Khloe shares in her own confessional. "Kourtney never has anything nice to say these days."

From Kourtney's perspective, she has noticed concerning behaviour from her 41-year-old sister, confronting her directly in one scene: "Are you doomscrolling in bed?"

Kourtney has also mentioned feeling considerable "negativity" coming from Khloe, suggesting the strain between the sisters is affecting both of them. This isn't the first time the sisters have feuded, but the tension between them looks set to explode this season.

What happened behind the scenes of the Paris robbery trial.

The new episodes will also delve into the behind-the-scenes moments from Kim's Paris robbery trial.

The trial, which took place in May, resulted in eight of the 10 defendants being convicted of crimes related to the robbery, while two others were acquitted.

In one scene, as Kim prepares for court, her mother Kris Jenner, questions her choice of wearing a diamond necklace. "Do you think we really should walk in there with all the diamonds on?" she asks.

Despite being robbed of millions of dollars' worth of jewellery during the traumatic incident, Kim remains defiant about her choice to wear the blinged-out necklace.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have sued Ray J.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have filed a defamation lawsuit against Ray J, with who the SKIMS founder dated from 2003 to 2006.

Earlier this month, PEOPLE confirmed that attorney Alex Spiro filed the lawsuit on behalf of the mother-daughter duo after Kardashian's ex-boyfriend made allegations that they are subjects of a federal investigation.

"Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian have never brought a defamation claim before nor have they been distracted by noise - but this false and serious allegation left no choice," Spiro said in a statement.

The lawsuit cites two specific instances as evidence of Ray J's defamatory statements. The first occurred in TMZ's Tubi documentary United States vs. Sean Combs earlier this year, where he said: "If you told me the Kardashians was being charged for racketeering, I might believe it."

The second incident involved a 24 September livestream where Ray J allegedly made false declarations about a federal racketeering investigation to "millions of social media followers."

Spiro described the Grammy nominee's accusations as the "most malicious defamatory conduct" and stated in the documents that Ray J "has engaged in a sustained campaign of harassment and defamation" against Kardashian and Jenner "for more than two decades."

In response to the lawsuit, Ray J addressed the legal action during a recent livestream, claiming the women were trying to make him a "slave" and alleging that millions they had previously paid him as hush money went unmentioned in the paperwork.

Ray J maintained his claims that he was pressured by the family, particularly Kris, to "do dirty things," which allegedly included filming multiple intimate tapes with Kim.

During the livestream, Ray J also stated the duo is "trying to kill the Black community" and that "people deserve to know" his allegations.
