
The anticipated film adaptation of Freida McFadden's bestselling psychological thriller The Housemaid is set to hit the big screen.
With a star-studded cast and a buzzy director, this adaptation is expected to be one of the year's biggest releases.
The film features Sydney Sweeney as Millie, the titular housemaid, and Amanda Seyfried as Nina Winchester, a wealthy woman who's guarding some dark secrets.

Michele Morrone (365 Days) and Brandon Sklenar (It Ends With Us) round out the cast, with Morrone playing mysterious groundskeeper Enzo and Sklenar portraying Andrew Winchester, Nina's husband.
Beloved director Paul Feig, best known for directing A Simple Favour and Bridesmaids, will helm the project, and Rebecca Sonnenshine is credited for writing the screenplay. Both Sweeney and Seyfried will serve as executive producers alongside McFadden herself.
