Mamamia recaps The Golden Bachelor: One contestant's daughter poked the Bear.

The Golden Bachelor is back, baby.

After Sunday night's hectic double dumping, it's time for the hometowns episode! Sunny is up first as she declares "I'm the CEO for today!" And I believe her! She invites Bear to a driving range in Sydney so she can rub her butt into him.

"He's very obedient! Not a grizzly bear, a very obedient Bear," she assesses. Important!

They sit down together and Sunny tells Bear that she's 'in love with' him. His reply. "Ugh, really!" Lol. This is just what every woman wants to hear in reply to such sentiments.

Sunny then admits she only became single six months ago. Wait, what? This is a wild thing to drop so late in the show.

Sunny introduces Bear as her 'boyfriend' to her daughters. He adds that "she might be jumping the gun." Rude!! Sunny's daughter Chloe is already unimpressed. Just you wait, Chloe!

On his own with daughters Chloe and Penny, they drill him about whether he is 'intimidated' by loud, strong women. Then Chloe asks if he's a feminist. "Am I a feminist? No," he blankly replies.

It's a bizarrely dismissive response. Kinda like if you're asked if you're a Pisces. No! (Unless you are, then 'Yes!)

Chloe is so off him.

"For a guy to be a feminist?" he muses. Umm. Yeah. What's being a guy got to do with anything?

In a confessional, he says he "comes from a family of all boys raising all boys, so I admit I have no idea what being a feminist means." Okayyyy. Then why did you answer so confidently, my dude? Chloe explains to him that feminism means equality for all genders, so he concedes he's a feminist.

I really don't believe him.

He does add that, "to me it means that some people don't think things are equal." Hmmm. I mean, they're not??

Anyway, Chloe forgives him. That said, Sunny's daughters tell their mum they think she's more into him than he's into her. Yikes. But still, they give their blessings.

As she farewells Bear, Sunny gives him a huge bag full of fancy fragrances, which is every feminist's dream. As he departs, Bear is still questioning if Sunny is rushing into this relationship.

And now on to Sunny's smut-writing nemesis, Dr Kim, who is making Bear eat dinner on the edge of a Brisbane building. I really don't know why! She says it's 'edgy' and do you get it?? Anyways, they enjoy a charcuterie together and then jump to their deaths.

At a meeting with the fam, Kim's son Ben drags Bear to hell, as he's left unimpressed with his vague description of his mum. "[Could you give] a non-generic answer, I guess?" he replies. Omg. I love Ben.

Little does he know, there's nothing non-generic about this man.

They bond about how they've processed their grief differently. Kim's daughter Abby says Bear is good 'on paper' in a confessional, which often translates to him being as dull as a bag of hair.

On the way out, Kim tells Bear that she "could fall madly in love with you." And that's it?

This hometown is over before it began, which doesn't bode well for ol' Dr Kimmy, sadly.

Next up is Bear's winner Janette, who invited Bear to Victoria's beachy coastal region of the Mornington Peninsula.

They chill on the beach before Bear meets Janette's family and friends. I did note when speaking about what he likes about Janette, Bear has a lot less generic things to say about her. Just something to remember!

Leanne, who is hilariously described as 'Janette's psychic friend', grabs Bear for a chat. "I look into his eyes and I don't know if I see a genuine person," she says in a confessional.

'I'm seeing roses, I'm seeing a mansion, I'm seeing a blonde woman named Samantha… who is she???' Image: Nine.

"You're sitting on that damn fence, aren't you, Bear?" she hammers him when he gives noncommittal responses.

But she likes him! Leanne says her 'psychic read' is that she sees Bear and Janette going far.

As she walks Bear out, Janette tries to share her feelings, but instead says "I'll see you soon."

JANETTE, YOU HAD ONE JOB.

But I do get it. I can't imagine how hard it would be to put your heart on the line when you've got a one in three chance of being dumped.

However, at the rose ceremony it is Dr Kim who is left roseless, which means it's Janette and Sunny heading to the finale in South Africa.

"I'll go away and lick my wounds… and hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for, but this was a good try," she sombrely states.
