That’s what I used to think before I found the do-it-all mascara that will fulfill your each and every lash desire. The best bit? It won’t break the bank.

Say hello to L’Oreal’s Telescopic Mascara, $26.95. In particular, the false lash effect version.

It's a highly pigmented formula that's available in both waterproof and non-waterproof versions and promises to give you " infinite length, without clumping, in just one stroke."  It's a tubing mascara of sorts which has micro-stretch fibres to lengthen your lashes. I can't even tell you the amount of time and money I've wasted on the quest for mascara perfection. I even made a friend of mine spend her last day in New York on the hunt for a certain mascara that was meant to be the bees knees but was of course, not available in Australia. It's still in my drawer. (Sorry, Bec.)

I went searching and searching and after many let-downs I came across false lash telescopic. It's raved about by beauty devotees and now, I'm joining the party and shouting it from the rooftops.

I'm now on about my fifth tube and as a beauty writer, that's saying something. I find it lengthens, doesn't clump and builds nicely, all while refusing to flake off into my eyes (and as a contact lens wearer, this is vital).
