While The Block Tree Change contestants chipped away at the houses on this season's 10-acre lot, Scott Cam has been quietly renovating his very own property at the same time. 

Yep, that's right. Cam has been transforming the sixth historic home on The Block and has turned the once-dilapidated property into the perfect family home.

Now The Block homes are all wrapped up and we - along with the contestants - eagerly await to see how much every house sells for. 

In the process, Cam has updated the living room, dining room, master bedroom and walk-in robe, main bathroom, kitchenette, study, kitchen two guest bedrooms with an additional guest ensuite, a garage, a work-from-home space and an exterior garden.

We don't mean to be a little biased here, but Cam may have just made the perfect family home – and perhaps even the best house of the season.
