Bachelor contestant Nikki Gogan has been forced to answer some personal questions following a claim she made on last week’s show.
Last week, Gogan told Richie she’d only ever had one relationship. The admission fit in with her long-term relationship history with ex-fiance Tim Verlinden.
But according to New Zealander Scott Van Der Bosch, there’s more to the story.
Van Der Bosch told New Corp's Confidential he believed he was involved in a serious relationship with the 29-year-old.
“I thought things were going to be progressing,” he said.
It was reported Gogan even flew to Van Der Bosch's hometown to meet his parents only six months before filming for the reality show began.
Gogan responded to the claim, saying she didn't consider the relationship to be "serious".
“I did spend a small period of time with my friend Scott,” she said.
“I never considered this to be a serious relationship and we parted amicably.”

The winner of this season of The Bachelor will be announced in the grand finale episode this Thursday night.
