1. The wildest conspiracy theory about Taylor Swift has turned out to be true.

Ahem.

It seems our favourite celebrity conspiracy theory of 2017 may actually be true after all.

After disappearing from social media last year, fans became convinced that Taylor Swift was being transported from her apartment and hidden from the paparazzi in a giant suitcase.

Because obviously if a celebrity goes on a social media detox and then a HUGE suitcase is carried out of their apartment then they are clearly in there.

Erm, okay then.

But it seems fans might have been right after all.

In a new interview with Vogue UK, former One Direction star Zayn Malik appeared to confirm the rumours.

Vogue wrote: “[Malik] seems more like an undergrad than an internationally swooned-over famous person. Though his small talk is a giveaway. ‘She was travelling around in a suitcase,’ he says, eyes agog, of his pal Taylor Swift’s ability to avoid the paparazzi”.

Look, we’re still confused about how someone so tall can fit in a suitcase?!

2. Amid rumours she pulls a Honey Badger, Ali Oetjen says she does choose a winner tonight.

With The Bachelorette finale set to air tonight, there's one question on everyone's minds – will Ali Oetjen pull a Honey Badger or will she actually pick someone?

And honestly, we don't blame them – the rumours have been rife.

Speaking to KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O, Ali insisted that she has chosen a winner.

"I can definitely tell you that I do pick someone," the 32-year-old said.

"Because they love to call me The Honey Badger," she added.

The radio hosts also questioned Ali over rumours that the winner she selects in the finale will reject her.

"That is a theory that you'll just have to tune in tonight to see," she said.

Earlier this week the Daily Mail sourced a photo from a Bachelor fan's Instagram Stories, which pictures contestants Taite Radley and Todd King sitting in a Fijian airport, with Ali nowhere in sight.

The photo has sparked rumours that Taite and Todd are set to star in Bachelor in Paradise, suggesting that Ali doesn't pick either of them.

Only time will tell...

3. Um. Jenna Dewan has responded to claims she looks exactly like Jessie J.

When one of Hollywood's most-loved couples Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan announced their separation earlier this year, many wondered what hope there is for the rest of us shmucks.

Then, Tatum moved on with singer Jessie J and the comparisons between the Magic Mike actor's former wife and current girlfriend began.

Most notably, because they look a bit similar - both have brown hair and dark features - hence, Tatum must have a type, no?

E! reports one fan went as far to comment on one of Dewan's recent Instagram posts, clearly on #TeamDewan... if such a thing exists.

"FIRST OF ALL... whenever I hear of the 'striking resemblance' w/ Jessie J and Jenna Dewan my only thoughts are ummmmm no [laughing emoji] not even close," the user wrote.

"And I don't have a horse in the race but gf you are untouchable. Just trying to spread positive vibes, keep doing you... to an absolute outsider from a small town do are doing it seemlessly [sic]."

Out of the thousands of comments she no doubt receives on her Instagram photos, Dewan decided to reply to this one, writing, "positive vibes all the way [kiss face emoji]."

It was a very diplomatic answer that's perfectly in line with the "we still love and respect each other" statement the former couple have put out to the public.

Although... we'd secretly love to be in Dewan's group chat with her close friends right now.

4. The Karl Stefanovic comment that caught Bindi Irwin completely off guard.

We're quite positive that Karl Stefanovic may have just overstepped his mark by insinuating the late Steve Irwin would not approve of his daughter Bindi Irwin's boyfriend.

Let us explain.

Promoting Australia Zoo's Steve Irwin Day on the Today Show, Bindi and her partner of five years Chandler Powell dialled in to talk about the iconic Crocodile Hunter's legacy, which is when Karl decided to be the 'weird over-protective uncle' who errrr... nobody asked him to be.

"Chandler, I don't want to be uncharitable, but I'm not sure Steve would have liked you," said Karl.

"I'm not sure Steve would have like anyone going out with his daughter.

"You can imagine what he would have said... 'Crikey, if you want to go out with Bindi, you have to go wrestle a komodo' or something.

*insert an awkward laugh from everyone involved*

"Just that sheer legacy and that sheer manliness, it's a lot to live up to," finished Karl.

Replying to the presenter's odd comment - and credit to him, only a little fazed - Chandler responded as eloquently as can be expected.

"It definitely is an honour just to be able to continue his legacy and I'm the luckiest guy in the world," he replied, before Bindi shared her two cents as well.

"I think Dad would have said you've got to swim the croc pond first and you'll be set. So lucky Chandler used to wakeboard," she replied.

And let's just leave that conversation right there.

5. 'She's the rudest celebrity I've ever met': Jonathon Moran slams Emily Ratajkowski.

Emily Ratajkowski is in Australia for last night’s GQ Men of the Year Awards, and she seems to have ruffled a few feathers.

Winning the International Woman of the Year accolade, the model, actress and swimsuit designer was applauded for her powerful acceptance speech. However, she has left people with mixed feelings after a 'rude and difficult' run in with Nova 969 radio host and Daily Telegraph chief entertainment reporter Jonathon Moran.

Sharing their encounter on Instagram, the journalist was not subtle about his criticisms.

"I’m asked daily who the worst, rudest or most difficult celebrity is that I’ve met or interviewed. Today I can categorically say [Emily Ratajkowski] is that person," he wrote.

Speaking to Mamamia, he shared the behind-the-scenes of the awkward run-in.

“She was late – so I thought she’d start by apologising, but she just acknowledged me in a really rude way," he said,

“She said ‘wait, who are you?’ and wouldn’t answer my questions, then she walked around me to speak to her manager who then told me she wouldn’t be speaking to media.”
