I'm a Swiftie with a theory, a platform, and a dream, and I know Taylor Swift is about to announce something big.
Do I know this for sure? Absolutely not, her inner circle is a vault sworn to secrecy and I'm certainly not in it. But if history serves, there is something strange going on. And no, I'm not talking about the theory of her 'lost album' Karma.
Since the news that Taylor was re-recording her masters to claim ownership of her music in 2021, fans have been treated to the 'Taylor's Version' releases of Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and 1989. What's left? Reputation and her self-titled debut album, Taylor Swift.
Fans have long assumed her debut album would be the final release, in a symbolic move to reclaim her 'name' once and for all. Miss Swift is nothing if not dramatic.
And thanks to the queen of the Easter Egg herself, Miss Taylor Alison Swift, there are a bunch of hidden details and small clues that prove Reputation will be the next Taylor's Version release. At least, in my opinion.
Are you ready for it? Let's clown…
Here are all the Easter eggs that prove Taylor Swift is about to release Reputation (Taylor's Version).
The important t-shirt.
Yes! The Eras Tour does feature very important slogan tees, from which we can deduct clues like some kind of deranged sartorial spy.
For the first two shows in Vancouver, Taylor wore her 'This is not Taylor's Version' t-shirt for her performance of 22 in the 'Red' era. But the thing is… she already released Taylor's Version of 'Red'.
So by wearing this shirt multiple nights in a row in Vancouver, is she hinting at another TV release? I'll clown and say YES.
