For most of us, Christmas is a time for frantically rushing around, buying presents and trying to figure out exactly how we’re going to carve the hulking leg of ham that appeared in the fridge at some point during the month.
But for Sydney parents Jade and Joshua Evans, it’s all about ensuring the 50,000-plus people attending their annual Christmas spectacular have an unforgettable experience.
Launching last year, The Sydney Santa Spectacular is about as close to Santa’s Workshop (and all its magical glory) as you can get.
There’s a 15-metre charity Christmas tree, an open-air ice-skating rink, toboggan slides, a double-decker carousel, an elf craft corner, roaming carolers, 1000 handmade wreaths, 12 custom-made Christmas huts, and just about everything else Christmas-related that you can imagine.
