“It’s been torturing me for 26 years.”
A woman in the US just discovered that she’s lived her entire life with her sibling in her brain. HER BRAIN.
After struggling for a few months with her speech and comprehension, Yamini Karanam was diagnosed with a brain tumour, and since a brain tumour is not an ideal thing to have, her doctors helpfully recommended she have it removed.
But it was during the surgery that they realised:
It’s was not a tumour. THE GROWTH WAS YAMINI’S LONG-LOST TWIN.
Well, it was her embryonic long-lost twin, which Yamini absorbed in utero. But her li’l sibling just didn’t want to let her go, so it lodged itself in her brain and went undiscovered for 26 years. When the surgeon pulled it out, it had hair, teeth and bone fragments inside.
Yamini was surprisingly chill about the whole thing, telling NBC news that she calls it “her evil twin.”
So, can you spot the resemblance?
Must be fraternal.
