Stephen Fry: Seven of the best moments from QI.

Comedian Stephen Fry has announced he will step down from popular quiz show QI after 13 years.

Fry began hosting the show in 2003 when he agreed to be a replacement for Michael Palin “just for the pilot”.

But his wit, charm and intelligence made it instantly clear he was born for the role he described as “one of the best jobs on television”, and he went on to host over 180 episodes of the award-winning show.

1. “Are you ready for me to pump the custard?”
