"You'll always be our little sister and always be our Button-Nose."

Hundreds of people have gathered to pay their respects to Stephanie Scott and her family.

The Leeton teacher’s funeral is being held in Eugowra, NSW — at the very site where Ms Scott had planned to wed her fiance, Aaron Leeson-Woolley, on April 11.

The service is being conducted at Eat Your Greens, Eugowra, and the wake is set to take place at the services club in Canowindra.

Businesses in Leeton will close close for an hour from 1pm, while locals to attend a public memorial held for Stephanie in Mountford Park.

Ahead of the funeral, Stephanie’s sister Kim Scott posted a photo of Ms Scott taking a bubble bath with her two sisters.

“All are welcome to attend to pay your respects,” Kim Scott wrote on Facebook. “She was a beautiful girl and we’d all love to see you to show your support for her.”

“I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, I’ve even tried to impersonate your brilliant cackle, but after 95 slides, I still don’t think I’ve done your beautiful life justice,” she posted separately on Facebook.

“You’ll always be our little sister and always be our Button-Nose. We love you Stephanie,” Kim Scott wrote.

Stephanie Scott’s other sister, Robyn Scott, has also shared several tributes to her sister on social media.

On Tuesday night, she shared a poem about the nature of loss, captioning it: “All of this is true.”

On Friday night, she wrote: “My heart aches for you tonight. My god i miss you. Xxxxx”

The night before Stephanie and Aaron’s wedding date, Robyn also shared a photo of the sisters raising their glasses in celebration. Poignantly, she captioned the photo: “Heres to what should have been a celebration of your last official night as a Scott girl. We love you Button-Nose xxx”.

The parents of Ms Scott’s alleged killer, 24-year-old school cleaner Vincent Stanford, offered their condolences to her family, but are not expected to attend the funeral.

Ms Scott disappeared on Easter Sunday — less than a week before her wedding.

After six days of searching, police recovered Ms Scott’s charred remains 70km north of Leeton. Mr Stanford, the Leeton High School cleaner, was charged with her murder.

He will appear in court in June.
