A holiday is meant to be fun. Restorative. Romantic, even.
And yet, for some reason, travelling with another person — whether it be a partner or a bestie — can turn you into the most unrecognisable version of yourself. The kind of person who cries in an airport bathroom because someone, "didn't think we needed to pre-book transfers". Or the kind of person who starts a fight over Google Maps with the seriousness of a courtroom trial.
It's also… weirdly common.
According to Expedia, a third of people have broken up with a partner while on vacation. Friendship breakups are often sparked by travelling too, because nothing highlights compatibility issues faster than the winning combo of sleep deprivation, hunger and the emotional trauma of being trapped together in a tiny hotel room with one bathroom and zero ventilation.
Which is why astrologers (yes, really) are warning that your 2026 could be make-or-break, depending on who you go with.
