Things just took a turn for the uglier.
Nick Loeb has accused Sofia Vergara of physical abuse and bullying.
Vergara’s ex, 39, has already taken out an op-ed in The New York Times about his ongoing battle to bring to term two embryos the two created together.
Now he’s appeared on morning TV to discuss the issue in an interview in which it emerged he made the accusations against in papers filed in court last year.
“She physically abused him on four separate occasions, she punched him in the face on two occasions, kicked him and threw her phone at his head,” the complaint stated.
“She also routinely bullied him, called him a loser, worthless and other degrading names.”
During their relationship, Vergara, 42, and Loeb created the embryos and both signed an agreement stating that neither would bring them to term without the other’s consent.
Loeb’s complaint says that he only signed the form “to avoid further abuse.”
“In my view, keeping them frozen forever is tantamount to killing them,” he said on America’s Today show.
He wants to implant the embryos in a surrogate and raise them himself.
Businessman Loeb denied he was capitalising on his ex’s success and trying to disrupt her life.
Vergara is promoting her new film with Reese Witherspoon Hot Pursuit and has recently become engaged to Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello.
