Snoop Dogg has a theory as to why Kanye West has gone a bit… rogue recently.
Appearing on the The View, the rapper was asked what he thought of the comments West made about slavery last month.
“I thought he needed some medical attention, first and foremost,” Snoop answered.
“I started feeling sad for him. He truly misses his mother, he truly misses a black woman in his life.”
Kanye West’s mother, Donda West, passed away in November 2007 following complications with plastic surgery.
“He truly misses the stability of having somebody telling him when he’s wrong and correcting him and checking him as opposed to allowing him to continue to do what he’s doing.”
“And that to me is something that he needs – he needs help – he’s crying out for help, so instead of me bashing him, we trying to help him now,” he concluded.
We can’t help but wonder if Snoop’s comments were a dig at Kim Kardashian, suggesting she isn’t doing enough to help her husband – especially given he’s been critical about her in the past. In April this year he posted on his Instagram, “The evolution of Jay-Z and Kanye show you how influential your wife can be to your life.”
