The 9 shows and movies to watch once you've finished Apple Cider Vinegar.

Apple Cider Vinegar is the show on the tip of everyone's tongue right now.

The Netflix series follows the story of wellness influencer Belle Gibson, who faked having cancer to promote alternative therapies.

The six-part series stars Kaitlyn Dever as Belle Gibson, Alycia Debnam-Carey as Milla Blake, and Aisha Dee as Chanelle.

Watch the trailer. Post continues after video.

The show has garnered a mixed critical reception but positive reviews among viewers, with a 79 per cent Rotten Tomatoes score, reaching #1 in Australia and #5 globally on Netflix.

If, like me, you inhaled this series in the space of a weekend, you might be a little lost, wondering what to watch next?

Lucky for you, scammer and influencer TV shows and movies are a niche that's basically my Roman Empire.

I've rounded up all the similar shows and films to watch next! Happy viewing!

Inventing Anna.

Inventing Anna is SO similar in both subject matter and tone.

The two Netflix shows feel very much in each other's worlds, offering an irreverent examination of power and privilege and the lengths scammers will go to for fame, money and, in both women's cases, validation from popularity.

The Netflix miniseries is about Anna Sorokin, who posed as German heiress Anna Delvey to infiltrate New York's high society and scam them out of millions.

Its leading lady Julia Garner (playing Anna) shares a striking resemblance to Apple Cider Vinegar's Kaitlyn Dever. The series also stars My Girl's Anna Chlumsky as journalist Vivian Kent, who investigates the story.

The Dropout.

Hot on the heels of Inventing Anna in 2022, came another engrossing story of a scammer.

The Dropout is a biographical drama miniseries starring Amanda Seyfried at her career-best as Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos.

The series chronicles Holmes' journey from college dropout to disgraced biotech entrepreneur, showing how she built a $9 billion company with fraudulent blood-testing technology.

The series features Naveen Andrews as Sunny Balwani, with supporting performances from Stephen Fry, William H. Macy, and Sam Waterston.

Ingrid Goes West.

When it comes to stories of an aspiring content creator who goes too far, you don't get better than Ingrid Goes West.

The film follows Ingrid Thorburn (aka Aubrey Plaza at her deranged best), a social media-obsessed woman who moves to Los Angeles to stalk Instagram influencer Taylor Sloane, as played by a pitch-perfect Elizabeth Olsen.

After orchestrating a meeting by kidnapping Taylor's dog, Ingrid infiltrates her life so she can force a friendship. Things only get more bonkers from there.

Not Okay.

Another film centred in the world of social media, Not Okay is a satirical black comedy about Danni Sanders (Zoey Deutch), a photo editor who fakes being a survivor of a terrorist attack to gain social media fame.

After befriending a school shooting survivor named Rowan (Mia Isaac), she realises her deception is spiralling out of control. The film also stars internet crush Dylan O'Brien as a douchy influencer, Colin, and he plays it perfectly.

Look, there's a lot of cringe in this film but it's a testament to Deutch's charm that she can still remain relatively sympathetic despite her, for the most part, tone-deaf and disgraceful antics.

Byron Baes.

If you have an Apple Cider Vinegar itch you need to scratch, consider this thoroughly underrated reality show.

Byron Baes is a Netflix reality series set in (you guessed it) Byron Bay, Australia, following a group of influencers and entrepreneurs.

The show centers on Sarah St. James, an aspiring musician who moves to Byron Bay to pursue her career.

The cast includes former reality TV stars Nathan Favro (The Bachelorette), Elias Chigros (Love Island), and other local personalities like Hannah Brauer, Saskia Wotton and Dave Frim.

Is it a little silly? Sure. But if there's any reality show that reflects the wellness influencer industry in Australia, it's this.

WeCrashed.

Another entreprenuer story, but this time we have a woo-woo couple taking centre stage.

WeCrashed chronicles the dramatic rise and fall of WeWork, a startup valued at $47 billion that offered shared workspaces worldwide.

The series follows founders Adam and Rebekah Neumann, played by Jared Leto and (a spectacular) Anne Hathaway, as their extravagant lifestyle and company mismanagement lead to WeWork's spectacular downfall.

Kyle Marvin portrays co-founder Miguel McKelvey, while America Ferrera plays a WeWork employee impacted by the Neumanns' toxic behaviour.

The Curse.

Okay, this show is a little ~ quirkier ~ than the above offerings, but believe me, it has a very similar vibe to the satirical lens of Apple Cider Vinegar when it comes to the wellness industry.

The Curse is a black comedy following influencer couple and newlyweds, Whitney and Asher Siegel, who are attempting to develop eco-friendly housing in Española, New Mexico.

Created by Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie, starring Emma Stone, Fielder, and Safdie, the show explores white privilege and performative altruism in a VERY unique way.

Come for Fielder and Safdie's hilarious script, but stay for Stone's truly mind-bending performance.

Dr Death.

FYI: the next two entries are, tonally, quite a lot darker.

Dr. Death is an American true crime anthology series that dramatises cases of medical malpractice.

Both seasons are excellent, but the first has an edge because of Joshua Jackson. The actor plays Christopher Duntsch, a neurosurgeon who maimed patients and killed two, with Christian Slater and Alec Baldwin portraying the doctors trying to stop him.

Season 2 stars Edgar Ramirez as Paolo Macchiarini, a surgeon conducting dangerous synthetic windpipe transplants, alongside Mandy Moore as journalist Benita Alexande.

Beware: these are harrowing watches, at times featuring children, so tread carefully.

I Care A Lot.

I Care A Lot stars Rosamund Pike as Marla Grayson, a ruthless con artist who makes her living by becoming a court-appointed guardian for elderly people, then selling their assets for profit. Eek! Not nice.

When she targets Jennifer Peterson (Dianne Wiest), she unknowingly crosses a Russian crime boss Roman Lunyov (Peter Dinklage), leading to a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

At times, this is a very traumatic watch, so brace yourself.
