9 shows to fill The White Lotus-shaped hole in your life.

With The White Lotus Season 3 recently wrapping up with a devastating finale, our Monday night plans have never looked so dire.

Mike White's satirical dramedy about privileged vacationers and the staff who serve them has once again delivered a perfect cocktail of social commentary, shocking twists, and that signature "who's going to die?" mystery that keeps us theorising all season long.

Whether you're impatiently waiting for the next season to drop, or simply craving more content that explores the complicated lives of the obscenely wealthy (and those caught in their orbit) doing stupid things, we've rounded up seven other shows about murder, rich people, or... both, to satisfy your appetite for lavish locales and lethal drama.

Let's get into it.

If your favourite part of The White Lotus is the rich people doing bad things (same), then you simply must jump on the Succession bandwagon.

Because the Roy family are the absolute worst extremely rich people on television.

Succession is a satirical comedy-drama, loosely inspired by the Murdoch family, about the dysfunctional Roys. Patriarch Logan Roy owns a media empire, and his adult children are fighting, scheming and backstabbing for control of the company.

It's brilliant, with characters you'll love to hate and hate to love, and the greatest insults you'll ever hear.

Dynasty.

Dynasty is a reboot of the iconic 1980s soap opera of the same name, and its general vibe is... rich people are corrupt as hell. What a premise!

The show follows the Carringtons and Colbys, two rich families who are perpetually at war with one another.

There are affairs, mysterious deaths, missing family members, evil twins, literal changing faces, and many other wild storylines, all wrapped up in a beautifully glamorous package.

It's the epitome of escapism television, and there are five seasons, so the very juicy drama of these ultra-rich families will keep you occupied for a while.

This one is for those who check into a White Lotus for the laughs (with a side of murder).

Only Murders In The Building stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short as an unlikely trio investigating murder(s) in their New York apartment building, the Arconia, while documenting their process for a true-crime podcast.

The writing is extremely clever, with red herrings all over the place and a perfectly paced unravelling of clues that slowly solve the crimes. There's also plenty of hijinks and jokes, with the fantastic chemistry between the three leads making it all the more enjoyable.

In The Resort, William Jackson Harper (The Good Place) and Cristin Milioti (Made for Love) star as a married couple celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary on a tropical vacation in the Mayan Riviera.

There, they stumble on an old mobile phone, which leads them to the unsolved disappearance of two young guests from a nearby resort 15 years earlier.

They launch themselves into solving the mystery, desperate for adventure and in an attempt to ignore their own marital issues.

Chloe is a psychological thriller that follows Becky Green, who is obsessed with stalking her childhood friend Chloe Fairbourne's perfectly curated social media presence, which she sees as in stark contrast to her own life as a carer for her mother.

When Chloe suddenly dies, Becky assumes a new identity and infiltrates the enviable lives of Chloe's closest friends to find out what happened to her.

Through her alter-ego Sasha, Becky becomes the powerful and well-connected "someone" she always wanted to be. But soon, she realises Chloe's real life had not been nearly as perfect as it was portrayed online. As Becky gets deeper into her con, and Chloe's inner circle, she risks losing herself completely in the game she is playing.

Big Little Lies began as the ultimate prestige limited TV series, based on a best-selling book from Liane Moriarty.

It stars Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, and Zoë Kravitz as five women in Monterey, California, who become embroiled in a murder investigation.

Across seven episodes, the mystery unravels, breaking the picture perfect facade of the women's lives and their beautiful small town.

The reception was so great that it returned for a second season, which added MERYL STREEP to the cast.

A must-watch for any White Lotus fan.

Bad Sisters is a dark comedy murder-mystery, which ticks precisely all of my boxes.

The series follows the five tight-knit Garvey sisters, who have always looked out for each other. But things get a little complicated when their brother-in-law winds up dead, and his life insurers launch an investigation to prove malicious intent.

Their sights are firmly set on the sisters... who all had ample reasons to kill him.

Severance.

For those captivated by The White Lotus' unsettling undertones and commentary on corporate control, Severance offers an even darker, more surreal exploration of workplace dystopia.

This mind-bending Apple TV+ thriller follows employees who've undergone a procedure to surgically separate their work and personal memories. Director Ben Stiller crafts a visually stunning, eerily sterile world that echoes The White Lotus's perfect-on-the-surface aesthetic while hiding something far more sinister underneath.

The slow-burn mystery and examination of identity will appeal to White Lotus fans who appreciated Mike White's ability to blend social satire with genuine suspense. Adam Scott leads a stellar cast in this critically acclaimed series that will have you questioning reality long after the credits roll.

If you loved the high-stakes drama and complex power dynamics of The White Lotus, then Apple TV+'s Emmy-winning series The Morning Show should be next on your watchlist.

Following the behind-the-scenes chaos at a major American breakfast television program, this series delivers the same biting social commentary and examination of privilege that made The White Lotus so addictive.

With Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon leading an all-star cast, the show brilliantly unpacks workplace politics, the #MeToo movement, and the ruthlessness of the media landscape. Like The White Lotus, nobody's hands stay clean for long, and the sharp writing ensures you'll be simultaneously horrified and unable to look away.
