Last week we shared our thoughts on the style of dress everyone will be wearing on Christmas Day.
In case you missed it, that would be a maxi-dress. Thanks to its on-trend silhouette and the variety of options on the market, it's set to be a very popular festive season choice.
But what if dresses aren't your thing? What if your style veers more towards separates?
I'd put myself in this camp. While I don't mind frocking up for a special occasion, I'm much more likely to opt for a fancy shirt or statement bottoms to make an impression with my outfit.

Which is why I've assembled a wardrobe full of matching sets. I love the ease of throwing them on and knowing my look is pulled-together. It's at the point now where I feel weird buying shorts without a top that was designed to go with them.
But the versatility — parden my pun — is completely unmatched. They can do dressy. They can do casual. They can be split up and styled separately.
