The Block judge Shaynna Blaze announces separation from her husband of 18 years.

The Block judge Shaynna Blaze has just announced she is separating from her husband of 18 years, Steve Vaughan.

The 55-year-old interior designer shared the news on Instagram, writing: “Sometimes in life, our paths change directions and now this is one of those times for me, with Steve and I separating.

“I will not be making any further statements about this and whilst I appreciate your support I ask that you respect our right to privacy.”

Since making the announcement overnight, fans of the interior designer have offered their words of support.

“Perfectly put! All the best for your next chapter,” commented one fan.

“May your days ahead bring you more peace and comfort and my wish for you is that this allows a new and happier chapter to begin for you when the time is right,” wrote another.

“Always sadness when any relationship comes to an end. But, you are one fierce woman who knows her mind and her worth. Take care of you,” commented someone else.

The personal trainer was Blaze’s second husband. They met six years after her divorce from her first husband, who she married at the age of 23 and had two children with.

Speaking to Stuff NZ in 2015, Blaze said she met Vaughan at a bar in Melbourne and they were engaged and married in a span of 11 months.

“Steve and I met at a bar in Melbourne that my girlfriend dragged me to,” she told the publication.

“Within two weeks we knew this was it. We were engaged within six months and married 11 months after we met. You meet the right person at the right time. They accept everything about you and you can be better than what you ever thought because you have that person next to you.”

Currently, Vaughan has not commented on their separation on his Instagram.
