Love is dead: Married At First Sight's Sharon and Nick have split.

We don’t want to break your reality TV watching hearts, but Sharon Marsh and Nick Furphy have broken up.

Marsh, 32, told New Idea she was no longer in love with Murphy after meeting him while filming Married At First Sight late last year.

“I love Nick, but after moving to Melbourne eight weeks ago to be with him, I soon realised that I’m not in love with him,” she said.

“I’ve shed many tears over this, because I really wanted it to work. I wanted the butterflies and roses — but I also needed a deeper love.”

After making the move, Marsh had a “constant ache” in her chest because she didn’t feel like she’d made the right decision. She also missed her twin sister Michelle, her parents and her dog.

Furphy told New Idea that Sharon’s decision “broke his heart”.

“I started to shake and couldn’t believe what I was hearing,” he said.

“I fell hard and fast and gave it my all. It has made me lose my faith in love a little bit.”

Marsh and Furphy were the last couple standing from the series and just last month they revealed matching foot tattoos.

Sharon posted a photo of Nick’s ‘I heart Shaz’ foot tattoo on Instagram, admitting that she also had one.

“Who’s grubby foots that!!” she wrote. “NZ in Jan 2017 when I dared @nick_furphy86 to get a tatt.”

“Well…he didn’t even hesitate, but he almost cried,” she added.

It’s a sad day for reality TV love, a very sad day.
