Serena Williams posts a cheeky "sneak peek" at her engagement ring.

Following the announcement of Serena Williams’ engagement to Alexis Ohanian, the paparazzi has spent every waking moment attempting to snap a photo of the ring.

I don’t want to go making any assumptions, but there are definitely, 100%, without a doubt paparazzi hiding outside her bathroom window trying to get a close up shot of the Williams’ much talked-about left hand.

So Williams, one of the greatest tennis players of our time, posted a sneak peek on her Instagram account – and it’s better than anything we ever could have imagined.

Oh. Why yes. That would be a taco.

Now, I’m not much in to romance, but… goddamn, this brought a tear to my eye. I think most women, when it really comes down to it, would choose a good taco over a diamond any day of the week.

Some notable details include the glistening yellow cheese, the brilliant cut of small but juicy pieces of tomato, and of course the 10/10 carat corn tortilla.

Williams revealed her engagement to Reddit cofounder Ohanian, in a subreddit titled /r/isaidyes.

Her post included an illustration of the internet entrepreneur, who goes by the Reddit username ‘Kn0thing’, down on one knee, proposing to the world number one tennis player.

The pair have been private about their relationship since rumours starting circulating a little over a year ago.
