Sure, we see our share of selfies all day long in our Instagram feed. And, not gonna lie, we’ve been privy to enough gratuitous duck face to last a lifetime.
But a South African agency came up with a selfie-focused ad campaign for a newspaper in the region that has us absolutely spellbound. Lowe South Africa created the campaign for The Cape Times that reimagined famous historical photographs as selfies, and accompanied them with the tagline, “You Can’t Get Any Closer to the News.”
Brilliant.
