Scarlett Johansson has given birth to a baby girl.

The 29-year-old actress and her fiancée   Romain Dauriac welcomed a daughter, who they have called Rose, into the world last night.

The actress announced in March that she was expecting her first child with the 32-year-old French journalist, following their engagement a year ago.

Late last year, Johansson told the Daily Mail that, “I would like to have my own family, that would be nice … They say it’s never the right time and I am sure that’s true, but I think you have to plan it like anything else.”

Congratulations to the couple! We can’t wait to see the adorable baby Rose.
